Estimator and Preconstruction Manager

We operate in three divisions: Renewable Energy, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), and Rock Trenching. JOB SUMMARY:
As an Estimator and Preconstruction Manager, you will be responsible for leading the preconstruction phase of projects, including estimating costs, analyzing project feasibility, and managing the bid process. Your expertise will help ensure our projects are meticulously planned and financially viable, setting the stage for successful execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other bid documents to assess project scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain accurate understanding, timelines, and competitive pricing.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, equipment, materials, and overhead.
- Oversee the bidding process, including the preparation and submission of proposals.
- Lead the preconstruction phase of projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
- Facilitate project meetings to discuss objectives, timelines, and deliverables with team members.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment with project timelines and requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in construction estimating and preconstruction management.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative mindset.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Annual Salary: $90,000-110,000+ based on experience
